a mare comes

Colt: i nickered and stood wobbly and bit it

i smiled "he's like his mum"

i smile and hold the bottle so he could eat

Colt: i nursed then laid down and curled up

"you know we'll have to stay out here with him at night and day"

i smile "i dont mind" i sit leaning against the wall "i'll call him ace"

Ace: i look at her when she said my new name and nickered

I smiled "ok" i say then went to get some cots

i smile "glad you like your name ace"

I put the cots in the next stall then looked at her "lets get some sleep"

Ace: i nickered

i smile and stand up "i'll be in the other stall ace"

Ace: i nicker and lay my head down and fall asleep

I look at her smiling

i smile and yawn

"you sleep first then i will"

i look at him "you sure?"

I nodd and kissed her cheek "yes i am"

i smile "okk wake me up in 2 hours" i lay on the cot

I nod and sat in ace's stall watching him

i fall asleep

I stare at my mare taker glareing at him for a bit then sighd laying my head back on the wal for the full two hourse

i wake up and walk quitly to the stall door

I look at her then got up

i slip in and sit on the floor looking at ace thinking

I kissed her head hten went to go to sleep

i smile small and wrap my arms around myself

Ace: i woke up and whinnied

i smile "hey boy hungry?"

Ace: i stood and nickered nodding
