The vet returns his call

NAte:i answer"Hello this is nate speaking"

"Hi nate im Alice the vet im in my truck on my way to your ranch to see the vanner" i said smiling at the sound of his voice

Nate:"ok thanks you ,goodbye"

I pull into the ranch and park my truck near the barn i honk the horn and climb out. I grab my bag and walk into the barn
"Nate?" i called

Nate:i pull charmining out of his stall and smile then go shake her hand"im him and this is Charming"

" nice to meet you both." i smiled and petted the stag
"Easy now" i said circling to check him right over and nod the damage was his barrel and fore legs
"Easy peasy " I said opening the bag and offering the horse a treat, i set about sedating him and stiching the open flap on his barrel and treating the wounds on the forelegs.
"He shoudl be stall confined until i take the stiches out, you can take him for a graze in hand ( on a lead) daily so he dont get too bored and give him a birthing stall where he can move freely. throw a ball on a rope from the roof and give him different feeds to keep him guessing and again so he dont get bored. no riding for a few weeks and there shouldnt be a scar." i smiled and patted the stag gently and when the sedation had worn off i gave him another treat.

Charming :i eat it as i look at rk
Nate:"ok no problem"

"see ya buddy" i said petting the horse once more and saying good bye to nate i headed to my truck

Charming:i whinnie

Nate:i wave then take c into a birthing stall

i do what she said and sit down
