Hiring Stablehands...

Anna:
I gasp. "Oh, you are adorable!" I crouch down and scratch behind her ears.

i lick at her hand tilting my head as the scratching is good.

I giggle. 'Oh you're adorable. Hmm... let's see... do you have a tag? What's your name.."

a simple bag tag attached to a peice of thin rope said "Cloe"

I see it. "Well, hello there Cloe. It's nice to meet you." I give her a little hug.

bark bark bark happily

I look at her thoughtfully. "Do you belong to someone girl?" [girl right?]

(Girl yes)
i whimper and lay down

"Hmm.. I think I'll take that as a no. You were probably abandoned, huh pretty girl?"

i sat up and yapped happily

I smile and pet her. 'You wanna be mine, pretty girl?' i ask her.

i jumped around happily barking mad

*I laugh as I pick her up* I'll take you into my house and see if i can get you some food, i tell her. Once inside, I take some leftover lasagna and place it on the floor for her. "here you go girl."

i greedly gobble it down and trot to the lounge room and find a sock and begin chewing and growling at it

I laugh at her playfulness. i ask her, "Is the sock gonna eat you Cloe? Get it!" She laughs.

i growl and shake my head attempting to kill the sock

I laughed as she ripped it apart.

"Hi i'm Hilary I was wondering if I could have a job here"

I walk to the open door. "Sure Hilary. You want to be a stable hand? And since you're the first person, you can be the head stablehand, if you want."

"thank you and i would love to be the head stable hand. but i have three horses to board."

I smile. "You can board them here. Its in exchange for your stablework."

i trot back to her side and growl through a mouthfull of sock at hilary

"Thank you for the job. and you won't regret hiring me" and looks at the dog and laughs.
"you remind me of Sophie"
